The United Daughters of the Confederacy offers the Phoebe Pember Memorial Scholarship to provide financial assistance to descendants of Confederates who wish to pursue careers in nursing.
The eligible candidate must be a direct descendant of a Confederate who served in the Confederate Army, Navy or Civil Service. The candidate must be a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy or the Children of the Confederacy. The candidate must also be enrolled in a nursing program at an accredited college or university in the United States and have a GPA of at least 3.0.

The Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Foundation offers the Post-Master’s Nurse Practitioner Certificate Program Scholarship to improve oncology nursing by assisting registered nurses with financial support.
