The Wyoming Community Foundation offers the Mabel C. Sargent Scholarship to provide financial assistance to juniors or seniors at the University of Wyoming who plan to pursue careers in nursing.

This well known and respected organization offers several $5,000 scholarships annually to nurses enrolled in maternal/child health nursing programs.  Applications are to be sent via email only.

Margaret Jones Memorial Nursing Scholarship

This scholarship is available through the Hawaii Community Foundation.  Created in memory of a nurse killed during World War I, the scholarship is awarded enrolled in the BSN or MSN nursing program in Hawaii or a mainland USA university. The applicant must be a college junior, at minimum.

Johnson County Community Foundation offers the Marion A. and Eva S. This scholarship of up to $2,000 is awarded to qualifying students entering their first year of nursing training in any accredited program throughout the United States.  There are some slight variations on this fact; please see the web site for details.

Midwest Nursing Research Society (MNRS) Research Grant
The Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing offers the Midwest Nursing Research Society (MNRS) Research Grant to encourage registered nurses to complete research in nursing.  The eligible candidate must be a registered nurse with a Master of Science in Nursing degree.  The candidate must also have a research project ready to begin immediately upon receipt of the grant.  The candidate must be a member in good standing of the Midwest Nursing Research Society and Sigma Theta Tau International.

The Central Indiana Community Foundation offers the Mildred B. Minnesota Nurse Faculty Loan Forgiveness Program
The Minnesota Nurse Faculty Loan Forgiveness Program was established to recruit and retain health care professionals to needed areas and facilities in Minnesota.The eligible candidate must in the final year of a Masters or doctoral program that prepares him or her to be nurse educators.  For loan forgiveness, program participants must teach at least 12 credit hours, or 720 hours per year (including prep time), for a minimum of three years in a postsecondary nursing program.

The Alloy Media + Marketing offers the Minority Nurse Magazine Scholarship Program to racial and ethnic minority nursing students.  The eligible candidate must be in the third or fourth year of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program or in an accelerated program leading to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or a Master of Science in Nursing degree.  The eligible candidate must have a GPA of at least 3.0.

The Missouri Department of Health offers the Missouri Professional and Practical Nursing Student Loan Program to encourage nurses to work in underserved areas of Missouri by providing financial.  The eligible student must be a resident of Missouri, enrolled in an accredited nursing program in Missouri with a GPA of at least 2.5.  Preference is given to students who reside in underserved areas of Missouri, minority students and previous recipients of Missouri Professional and Practical Nursing Student Loans.  Recipients can have the loan forgiven through working in rural or underserved area of Missouri.
