Online Nursing and Health Care Degrees Review

Online Courses for a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Program Description

The online Registered Nurse to Bachelor’s of Science degree in nursing program is specifically for RN’s busy with full-time work and family commitments preventing them from completing a traditional campus based program.  The program is offered in a collaborative, cohort format facilitating developing relationships, camaraderie and the feel of a traditional learning environment among students.  The cohort model at Colorado Christian University also seeks to build a professional network of diverse perspectives for each student graduating from the program.  Program topics include informatics, genomics, bioethics and global health.  Because of the Christian roots and heritage of the university, additional study in moral leadership and Christian nursing theory are also part of the course.  Nurses also have the opportunity to complete an international mission experience related to their field of study. The program has a strong focus on character building and the role of a nurse as a compassionate caregiver.
