It’s important to note that there are currently no online classes or distance learning programs that are approved by the state, and that if you sign up for one of those, you will probably not be eligible for certification.

There are state approved CNA training programs in most counties in Wisconsin. They are typically offered by nursing homes, colleges and community colleges, vocational schools and private institutions.

In fact, once you have completed the program, you should be competent to work as a nurses aide anywhere in the state.
