Oklahoma City University is a private university located on a 104-acre campus in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Founded in 1904 by the Methodist Church.  It is now organized into 9 academic divisions and enrolls over 3,600 graduate and undergraduate students.

The Kramer School of Nursing at Oklahoma City University offers the Bachelor’s to BSN Program that allows qualified students to earn a BSN degree after 3 semesters and 1 summer of full-time classroom and clinical work.  To qualify for this accelerated BSN degree program, the student must have already earned a bachelors degree in a field other than nursing and must have completed the following prerequisite classes:  Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, and Psychology. The application deadline is in December for January entry.

The University of Oklahoma Health Science Center is a public institution located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  It was founded in 1900 at the medical department of the University of Oklahoma.  Today its academic divisions includes the College of Medicine, the Graduate College, the College of Allied Health, the College of Dentistry, the College of Nursing, the College of Pharmacy, and the College of Public Health.  Nurses have received training at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center since 1911.  It currently offers the ABSN (Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing) program that allows qualified students to earn a BSN degree in 14 months.  To qualify for this accelerated 2nd degree BSN program, the student must have already earned a bachelors degree in a field other than nursing and must have completed the 11 prerequisite classes. The application deadline is in September for summer entry.
