The nursing masters program is a candidate for accreditation by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. The 32 credit program is available online, and is designed to fulfill the need for nurse educators in the area. Students can complete the program in as little as 3 semesters of 16 weeks followed by one 8 week semester.

Though most part-time students complete the program in six semesters of study, students have up to six years to complete the MSN Nursing Education program.

A BSN from an accredited program is required to apply for the nursing masters program. Applicants to the nursing masters program should have a 2.5 overall undergraduate GPA or a 3.0 GPA in the nursing major.
