Kalamazoo Science Foundation Scholarship
The Kalamazoo Community Foundation offers the Kalamazoo Science Foundation Scholarship to help promising high school students pursue education in math, science or engineering.

The eligible candidate must be a high school senior or a full-time college undergraduate, majoring in science, engineering or math.  High school seniors must have a GPA of at least 3.5 and college undergraduates must have a GPA of at least 3.0.  The candidate must demonstrate financial need.

Award:   $2000;  renewable

These scholarships are available through the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Funds of $800 to $1,000 are given to women seeking education for a general career, or a health care career.

Eligibility includes be a member of the Lutheran Church and have been graduated from high school for two or more years, and have not returned to formal education since that time.

Kaiser Permanente College To Caring Program
The Hispanic College Fund offers the Kaiser Permanente College To Caring Program award to students who are juniors or seniors in college pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.  The eligible candidate must be Hispanic and enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student in an accredited university in Northern California.  The candidate must also be a US citizen or permanent resident residing in Northern California.  Academic achievement and financial need will be considered.

Kaiser Permanente Deloras Jones RN Academic Excellence Scholarship

Kansas Nurses Foundation Scholarships

The Kansas Nurses Foundation was formed from the Kansas State Nurses Association. The foundation offers funding for numerous scholarships for students pursuing a nursing education, as well as research and grant dollars.

The Community Foundation of Bartholomew County offers the Karen Ann Coffman Memorial Nursing Scholarship to encourage students in Bartholomew County to pursue careers in nursing.  The eligible candidate must be a resident of Batholomew County, Indiana, pursuing an Associate Degree in Nursing or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at an accredited college or university.  The candidate must have a GPA of at least 2.0.

The Warrick County Community Foundation offers the Karen Fleming Metzger Scholarship to students from Warrick County high schools pursuing careers in nursing.  The scholarship was established by the family of Maurice and Margaret Fleming in memory of their daughter, Karen.   The eligible candidate must be a senior graduating from a Warrick County high school, with a GPA of at least 3.0.  Preference is given to graduates of Boone High School.

Karen O’Neill Endowed Advanced Nursing Practice Scholarship
The Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) Foundation offers Karen O’Neil Endowed Advanced Nursing Practice Scholarship in memory of Karen O’Neil, to support an emergency nurse (RN, LPN, or LVN) pursuing an advanced degree. The eligible candidate must be an emergency nurse seeking an advanced degree and must be an ENA member.

Karla Carroll Memorial Nursing Scholarship
Rhode Island College offers the Karla Carroll Memorial Nursing Scholarship to support Rhode Island College students pursuing careers in nursing.  The Scholarship was established by the mother of Karla Carroll, a graduate of the Rhode Island College School of Nursing.  Karla died in a plane crash.  The eligible candidate must be junior or senior enrolled full-time in the Rhode Island College School of Nursing.  The candidate must also have a GPA of at least 2.5 and demonstrate the caring qualities that Karla Carroll possessed.

Katherine Pope Scholarship

This scholarship is administered through the Georgia Nurses Association in honor of Katherine Pope, and in support of future nurse leaders.

Eligibility includes being a resident of Georgia enrolled in full or part time nursing studies.  The applicant must have a grade point average of 2.5 or greater, and have proof of financial need.

The Community Foundation of Boone County Rhode Island College offers the Knebel Family Nursing Scholarship.  The Scholarship was established by Donald and Jennifer Knebel in 2008 to provide financial assistance to students pursuing careers in nursing.   The eligible candidate must be a high school senior graduating from Zionsville Community High School or Lebanon High School, planning to enroll in an accredited nursing school in Indiana.  Selection is based on academic achievement and financial need.
