Nursing programs in Alaska each have unique requirements for admission to their programs, such as minimum high school grades in science and math. The four-year bachelor’s degree program. This program offers an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree. It requires at least two years of full-time study. Admission requirements include math and science classes at the high school level and a GPA of at least 2.0. The university also offers a BSN program. Students are admitted as nursing pre-majors, and a GPA of 2.70 is required for admission to the BSN program.
