RN Programs in Louisiana

Some of the RN programs are very selective and admit only a few of those who apply to their programs. Other RN programs are less strict and admit all who apply to their program. Many times, applicants must have college preparatory classes and scores of at least 1,000 for the SAT and a minimum score of 20 for the ACT to be considered for admission. Each of the RN programs in Louisiana has different requirements for admission to the school. Community colleges are usually much easier to get into, but this is not always the case.

Students should apply on year in advance of the time that they hope to begin classes. This allows ample time if an applicant needs to set up a visit and interview at several different RN programs.

Louisiana has one Diploma in Nursing program that takes three years to complete.
