There are many registered nurse (RN) positions available for qualified registered nurses in the state of Minnesota. While the nursing shortage is not as extreme in Minnesota, there is still a nursing shortage in the state.

Minnesota needs registered nurses in hospitals, outpatient clinics, doctor’s offices, home health agencies, and nursing homes. There are many RN programs in Minnesota, and each of them has their own requirements for admission. Some schools, especially those with two-year programs that lead to an Associate Degree are often not as strict with their admission requirements as four-year Bachelor’s Degree programs.
