Minnesota School of Business

Now jointly as Globe University and Minnesota School of business both founders of these institutions founded the program with the goal to provide a college providing vocational career education for the youth of Minnesota. In 1885, Globe University was founded as Globe College by a German born scholar who sought to provide a practical education for men and women.

From the beginning, the college has focused on teaching business. Just several years earlier in 1877, Minnesota School of Business was founded and taught English, shorthand, typing and bookkeeping among other business skills to a small group of students.  Today Globe University and Minnesota School of Business work together to provide education in a variety of fields including legal science, technology, business, accounting, health sciences, and creative media.
