The program requires two years to complete. Students can apply while completing nursing course prerequisites, but must submit their application at least three months before they would like to begin.

Students seeking to earn a bachelors degree in nursing may enter as a registered nurse (RN) or with no prior nursing experience. Graduates of the BSN program are prepared to be nursing leaders, using nursing theory and research to implement patient care programs.

Students who are registered nurses are enrolled in the Completion Option, the Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) degree program. The Completion Option (for RNs) is delivered completely online in collaboration with Embanet-Compass Knowledge Group, LLC. So it is a fully accredited online RN to BSN program.

Students who have no prior nursing experience are admitted to the Four-Year Option (FYO), which will include education and training to become an RN and sit the NCLEX-RN exam as well as earn the BSN degree. The FYO is a hybrid program including online, clinical and classroom components.
