Tammi M. Brush ’98 Endowed Memorial Scholarship
Carlow University offers the Tammi M. Brush ’98 Endowed Memorial Scholarship to encourage students to pursue nursing careers.  Carlow University is a Catholic university that prepares students for leadership.  The School of Nursing offers programs leading to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree, Master of Science in Nursing degree and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. The eligible candidate must be enrolled in the School of Nursing.  Selection is based on academic achievement and financial need.  Preference is given to graduates of Norwin High School.

Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Professional Nursing Scholarship

The Texas Higher Education Board provides financial assistance for students seeking a career in nursing.  Students must be enrolled at least half time in an approved nursing education program within the state of Texas.

The Jack & Rita Allen Endowed Scholarship Fund for Frank Phillips College Allen Campus
The Amarillo Area Foundation, Inc. offers The Jack & Rita Allen Endowed Scholarship Fund for Frank Phillips College Allen Campus to provide financial assistance to students attending the Frank Phillips College Allen Campus.  It was established in 2007 by Jack and Rita Allen. The eligible candidate must be a graduating high school senior and a resident of Hansford, Libscomb, Ochiltree or Roberts County, Texas.  The candidate must have a GPA of at least 2.5.  Preference is given to students in the nursing program.

The Marsh Minority Scholarship
The Amarillo Area Foundation , Inc. offers The Marsh Minority Scholarship to provide financial assistance to African American or Hispanic students seeking higher education.  It was established in 1997 by Wendy and Stanley Marsh.  The eligible candidate must be African American or Hispanic, enrolled in a Masters or Doctoral program at West Texas A&M University studying nursing, allied health, education, general studies or sociology.  Selection is based on both academic achievement and financial need.

The Nancy Gerald Memorial Nursing Scholarship
The Amarillo Area Foundation, Inc. offers The Nancy Gerald Memorial Nursing Scholarship to encourage students from the Texas panhandle to pursue careers in nursing.  It was established by the family of the late Nancy Gerald to honor her memory.  The eligible candidate must be a junior or senior enrolled in the nursing program at Amarillo College or West Texas A&M University with a GPA of at least 2.5  The candidate must be from the 26  northernmost counties of the Texas panhandle.

Thomas Jordan Doctoral Scholarship
The Oncology Nursing Society Foundation offers the Thomas Jordan Doctoral Scholarshipto encourage nurses to pursue careers in oncology nursing.  Founded in 1975, the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) is dedicated to promoting excellence in education, patient care, administration and research in oncology nursing.   Since 1975, ONS has grown to over 200 chapters and over 25 special interest groups.  It has become a leader in advocacy activities worldwide.  The eligible candidate must be a registered nurse, pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree who has demonstrated a commitment to oncology nursing.

Thelma Orr Memorial Scholarship

The Alpena regional Medical Center sponsors this scholarship of $1,500 which may be awarded to a nursing student attending a program within the state of Michigan.

Thomas-Bolt Scholarship
The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation offers the Thompson-Bolt Scholarship to encourage graduates of St. Albans High School to pursue careers in nursing.  The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation was established in 1962 to help improve the lives of residents of the Greater Kanawha Valley area through philanthropic work.  The eligible candidate must be a graduate of St. Albans High School and must be enrolled as a freshman in a nursing program at an accredited college, university or school of nursing.

Tom and Lois Crucitti Nursing Scholarship
Western Connecticut State University offers the Tom and Lois Crucitti Nursing Scholarship to students pursuing careers in nursing.  It was established in 2001 by Tom and Lois Crucitti, graduates of Western Connecticut State University.  The eligible candidate must be a full-time student in the Nursing Program, must have completed at least 30 credits and must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.  The candidate must also demonstrate financial need.

Tom Goforth Scholarship Fund
Community Foundation of Mendocino County offers the Tom Goforth Scholarship Fund to encourage Ukiah, California students to pursue careers in nursing.  This scholarship was created by the Ukiah High School Alumni Association in honor of Tom Goforth, an alumnus of Ukiah High School.  The eligible candidate must be a senior at Ukiah High School, planning to attend Mendocino College.  The candidate must also have an interest in pursuing a nursing career or being on the golf team.  The candidate must have a GPA of at least 3.0 and demonstrate financial need.

Touchmark Foundation Nursing Scholarship

The Touchmark Foundation is providing scholarships to nursing students in several states, as well in Alberta, Canada, who are pursuing a degree in nursing. They are also providing funding to students who will become the new generation of nursing teachers.

Transfer Scholarship
Molloy College offers the Transfer Scholarship to provide financial support to students who chose to transfer to Molloy College from another college or university where the student had already completed at least 30 full-time credits.   Molloy College is a private, Catholic college located on Long Island, New York.  It is nationally known for providing a high-quality liberal arts education at an affordable price.  The eligible candidate must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0, or 3.3 for nursing majors.

Tuition Waiver for Foster Care Recipients

The Maryland Higher Education Commission provides tuition waivers for students under the age of 25 years who are attending a college or university 2 or 4 year program.  No stipulation in the type of program is made, so this could include any nursing program within the state of Maryland.

Two Ten Footwear Foundation Scholarships
The Two Ten Footwear Foundation offers the Two Ten Footwear Foundation Scholarship to students affiliated with the footwear, leather or related industries.  The eligible candidate or his or her parents must have been employed in the footwear industry for at least two years.  The candidate must be attending or planning to attend an accredited two or four year college, university, nursing or technical school.  Selection is based on financial need, academic achievement and personal promise.

Tylenol Future Care Scholarship

The makers of Tylenol at McNeil award 30 scholarships of $5,000 and ten scholarships of $10,000 each year to students pursuing a health care career.  These funds will go a long way in helping you pay for a nursing education.  Applicants must be enrolled in a 2 or 4 year program at an approved college, university or technical school.

Students must have completed at least one year of their program to be awarded a scholarship.
